Crostini with Artichokes Pate, Fresh Figs and Balsamic Glaze

Nice, little finger food to start your summer meals

Step 1

Toast a French baguette in the oven at 350 F for 12-15 minutes, until crunchy. Slice up the bread (1 inch, 1 ½ inch per slice), then put the slices back in the oven at 425 F for 2-3 minutes more.

Step 2

Spread the artichoke pate in an even layer and garnish the crostini with fresh figs cut in quarters; even strawberries or raspberries can be an interesting option. Garnish the top with some lemon flavored balsamic glaze, or chili pepper flavored balsamic glaze.
